The Joakinator is an artistic project created by Joaku de Sotavento that addresses the issue of how technology affects the creative process through the artist's body. Through the creation of the performance and the development of a body interface for stage interaction, we explore the embodiment of digital technologies.
It is an interface devoted to converting the language and signs of the human body into the interface itself. The idea behind Joakinator is to give direct control of the multimedia elements to the artist, but these elements are not only controlled by the artist; in fact, the artist also receives cues from the system. Joakinator will be a creative assistant in the creation process of a performance.
